21 latest hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system chief nursing officer and CMO moves in the last four weeks.

The CNO and CMO moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. New Orleans-based Tulane Health System selected Tara Beth Anderson to serve as associate chief nursing officer, effective Jan. 2.

2. John Byrne, MD, will serve as senior vice president and CMO at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston.

3. Templeton, Calif.-based Twin Cities Community Hospital selected Robert Cook, BSN, MSN, to serve as its permanent chief nursing officer.

4. Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health named Kevin D. Dishman, MD, senior vice president and CMO.

5. Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network appointed Paula Fessler, MSN, RN, chief nurse executive for its Valhalla and Poughkeepsie campuses.

6. Joseph E. Hoagbin, MD, CMO of CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs (Iowa), retired Jan. 18.

7. Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Calif., selected Rex Hoffman, MD, to serve as CMO.

8. Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston named Loretta Lee, RN, acting chief nursing officer.

9. AdventHealth North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs, Fla., tapped Michael Longley, MD, to serve as CMO, effective Feb. 18.

10. Detroit Medical Center selected Leonardo Lozada, MD, to serve as CMO for three of its hospitals.

11. Detroit Medical Center appointed Travis Maher, BSN, chief nursing officer for three of its hospitals.

12. Kissimmee, Fla.-based Osceola Regional Medical Center hired Joseph Mazzola, DO, to serve as CMO.

13. Cleveland Clinic Akron (Ohio) General named Sheila Miller, MSN, DNP, RN, chief nursing officer.

14. Norwalk, Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Medical Center appointed Gary L. Moorman, DO, as CMO, effective Jan. 14.

15. Oklahoma City, Okla.-based Integris Baptist Medical Center appointed Lewis Perkins, BSN, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

16. Lauderdale Lakes-based Florida Medical Center selected Dianne Rosario, BSN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

17. SUNY Downstate Medical Center appointed Joanne Ritter-Teitel, PhD, RN, chief nursing officer of University Hospital of Brooklyn, both based in New York City.

18. Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn., named Richard Rogers, MD, its new CMO.

19. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America selected Julian Schink, MD, to serve as CMO.

20. Little Rock-based Arkansas Children's Hospital appointed Greg Sharp, MD, senior vice president and CMO.

21. Syracuse, N.Y.-based SUNY Upstate Medical University selected Amy Tucker, MD, to serve as CMO of Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse permanently.
