11 latest hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Meridian, Miss.-based Anderson Regional Medical Center named John Anderson president and CEO.

2. Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Alliance named James Callaghan, MD, CEO of its three hospitals in Carmel, Ind., Indianapolis and Mooresville, Ind.

3. Cincinnati-based UC Health hired Peter Gilbert, currently COO at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, as its first COO. 

4. Brookfield-based Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin named Barclay Ferguson CFO.

5. Peter Brown, chief of staff at Boston-based Partners HealthCare, left the health system Thursday to begin the next stage of his career in public affairs.

6. Fredericksburg, Va.-based Mary Washington Healthcare promoted Eileen Dohmann to senior vice president and CNO.

7. Alabama Hospital Association President and CEO Mike Horsley will retire at the end of 2015.

8. Smyrna, Tenn.-based TriStarStoneCrestMedical Center named Trey Schablik CFO.

9. Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora named Jena Hausmann president and CEO, effective May 1, 2015.

10. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Matrix Medical Network, a provider of in-home assessments and care management, announced that Jean Callahan will join the company as senior vice president and chief human capital officer.

11. Hartford-based Connecticut Children's Medical Center President and CEO Martin J. Gavin plans to retire by the end of this year.
