Ed Simcox has been named executive vice president and chief digital technology officer of Indianapolis-based Community Health Network.
Mr. Simcox made the announcement via an Oct. 2 LinkedIn post. Before joining Community Health Network, Mr. Simcox served as senior director of Health AI Platform and Interoperability Products at Oracle Health.
“I’m deeply grateful for my time at Oracle Health and the opportunity to work alongside so many talented colleagues committed to improving healthcare. A special thank-you to Seema Verma for her vision, unwavering leadership and support, and to Srini Venkat for his guidance, encouragement, and confidence in me,” he said.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the health system’s technology strategy, operations and digital transformation, according to his LinkedIn profile.
