11 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Ind., named E. Kyle Bennet president and CEO, effective April 1.

2. Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America selected Mark Rader to serve as CEO of its planned StoneSprings Hospital Center in Sterling, Va.

3. Houston-based Woman's Hospital of Texas named Ashley McClellan CEO, effective May 12.

4. Virginia Razo is resigning as interim CEO of Truckee, Calif.-based Tahoe Forest Hospital District after serving in the role for just two months.

5. New Albany, Ind.-based Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services named Daniel J. Eichenberger, MD, interim CEO.

6. Newburgh, N.Y.-based St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital announced the resignation of its president and CEO, Robert Ross. Mr. Ross will continue to serve the hospital in these roles until his departure in early June.

7. Henry Veenstra, president of Zeeland (Mich.) Community Hospital, is retiring Sept. 30 after 44 years at the hospital, 41 of which he spent serving as president.

8. Englewood, Colo.-based Centura Health announced the appointment of Morre Dean as president of South Denver Group and CEO of Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, effective March 30.

9. Sandra Bruce, president and CEO of Chicago-based Presence Health, announced she will retire at the end of the year.

10. Greg Burns, president and CEO of Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Ind., resigned.

11. HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley in Westwood, N.J., named Emily Holliman CEO.
