HCA names Mark Rader CEO of StoneSprings Hospital Center

Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America has selected Mark Rader to serve as CEO of its planned StoneSprings Hospital Center in Sterling, Va., according to Washington Business Journal.

The 124-bed, $186.5 million hospital project will be completed in December.

In addition to his role as the hospital's CEO, Mr. Rader will also be responsible for overseeing operations at the adjacent medical office building, according to the report.

Mr. Rader has served as CEO of several hospitals, including University Hospital in Broward County, Fla., Palmyra Medical Center in Albany, Ga., and Pulaski (Va.) Community Hospital.
