Zocdoc has been integrating with Epic through an application programming interface since 2016. It enables patients to check availability and book appointments via Zocdoc that then appears on their provider’s schedules.
Zocdoc’s inclusion in the Epic App Orchard improves the integration and creates a more streamlined process, allowing Zocdoc to more efficiently and securely exchange appointment and patient information.
The Epic App Orchard offers third-party developers an online marketplace to showcase applications that can run on Epic software infrastructure.
