Through membership in the council, Ms. Miller will be tasked with analyzing how to improve access to telehealth services across Florida. She and the other council members will present their conclusions to the Florida governor, senate president and house speaker in October 2017.
“The members of the council have a proven track record of innovation in the field of medicine, and I look forward to working with them over the next year to examine the best uses of telemedicine to provide healthcare for Floridians,” said Elizabeth Dudek, secretary for the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration.
