Mr. Turner, who currently serves as vice president of service delivery and infrastructure at Walgreens, has been with the company since 2009, according to a Walgreens release sent to Becker’s Hospital Review.
Before joining Walgreens, Mr. Turner held positions at Orbitz, Intuit and the U.S. Department of Defense. Additionally, he served as a cryptologic technician in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Turner holds an MBA from Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Walgreens’ outgoing CIO is Abhi Dhar.
