Here are three emerging technology trends to watch, according to Mr. Savar.
1. Patient scheduling software — which often sends patients appointment reminders and optimizes record keeping — may reduce no-shows, save money and improve the level of service to patients.
2. Diagnostic chips and portable devices may soon help to improve patient care. Developers are working on new products — such as smartwatches that detect heart attacks — using patient monitoring and notification technology.
3. Marketing automation software tools may streamline administration processes like data integration, patient monitoring and patient outreach.
“[These] are just three software and tech trends that are changing the medical profession. These tools improve patient communication, optimize healthcare management processes and could even save lives,” writes Mr. Savar.
