TRHS comprises TiftRegionalMedicalCenter and Tift Regional Medical Center West Campus, both in Tifton, CookMedicalCenter and CookSeniorLivingCenter, both in Adel, Ga., and Tift Regional Physician Group at various clinics throughout south central Georgia.
Below are three things to know about the partnership.
1. Tift will implement Cerner’s Millennium system. Through the integrated system platform, TRHS hopes to improve communication between clinical and financial data.
2. As part of the new relationship, TRHS signed up for interoperability services with CommonWell Health Alliance, allowing TRHS access to more comprehensive patient information, patient identity management, record locator services and document query and retrieval.
3. In a prepared statement, TRHS CMO David McEachin, MD, said, “Cerner and TRHS will leverage the advanced health IT system to work toward our measurable goals of increased physician usability, strong patient outcomes and improved cost efficiency.”
