Below are three things to know about the software update.
1. Infinx’s existing revenue cycle platform, iBridge, completes patient insurance verification and preauthorization services for healthcare providers.
2. The added patient pay estimate feature automatically calculates a patient’s insurance deductible, copay and out-of-pocket maximum at the outset of care. The estimate software also calculates and prints a patient payment schedule.
3. In a prepared statement, Infinx CEO Hiren Kulkarni said, “iBridge alleviates the sticker shock many patients typically experience with their first medical bill. At the same time, our comprehensive front-end estimates offer providers a more reliable roadmap for predicting incoming revenue.”
