Below are four things to know about the new offering.

1. The PFE platform generates and archives patient financial information for front-desk staff in real-time.

2. To help providers assess and determine a patient’s financial responsibility, the platform allows staff to see past medical payments, pull up patient eligibility and then automatically calculate a cost estimate for prescribed treatment.

3. Payspan’s PFE also offers automated payment options and payment plans for patients during each encounter.

4. Payspan will offer the solution commercially this June.
