Below are three things to know about the service offerings.

1. Through its membership program ChoiceHealth, Novant offers support services to independent physician groups to help them with managed care contracting, credentialing, strategic sourcing and other services. The program serves more than 2,200 providers and will continue to operate under the umbrella of AXIA Physician Solutions moving forward.

2. AXIA will offer practice performance support in the following areas: revenue cycle services, operations, clinical and quality management solutions and virtual practice administration.

3. In a prepared statement, Novant senior vice president Patrick Easterling said, “Novant Health recognizes the toll healthcare reform is taking on independent physician groups, and AXIA Physician Solutions is an alternative model designed to support those physicians who value their independence and autonomy, not only as physicians but proud business owners.”
