Funded by HHS, the newly created NQF Telehealth Committee will work to find the best ways of measuring the quality of telehealth-delivered care and improve the future use of telehealth measures.
“Establishing a standard of industry-wide measures for telehealth encounters will be invaluable to the growth and continued success of the telehealth industry,” said Dr. DePhillips. “With the industry ready to boom, I am eager to share [Teladoc’s] expertise in this journey with the NQF Telehealth Multistakeholder Committee and further establish telehealth as a central, interconnected component of our healthcare system.”
