With this partnership, DrFirst’s HIPAA-compliant communication technology Backline will be integrated into SigmaCare’s EHR platform. DrFirst designed Backline to streamline provider workflow, care collaboration and patient safety in a clinical setting. With Backline’s secure messaging system, providers can exchange messages with staff within their facility or from external referring facilities and can send patient care updates to patient caregivers.
SigmaCare has already integrated DrFirst’s EPCS Gold prescribing technology, which allows prescribers to electronically order controlled substances for residents and discharges.
