OhioHealth outsources home health locations

Columbus-based OhioHealth has outsourced its home health and hospice services to Compassus, a company that specializes in providing integrated home-based care.

OhioHealth finalized its agreement with Compassus which was announced in June. Under the agreement, ownership of the health system’s three hospice locations and four home health locations will be transferred to Compassus. 

Additionally, 500 OhioHealth employees will transition to Compassus. 

Nashville, Tenn.-based Ascension Saint Thomas Home Health and Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health recently made similar moves with Compassus.
