NIH offers up to $15M to enroll volunteers in Precision Medicine Initiative’s All of Us program

The National Institutes of Health is offering a new opportunity, up to $15 million, for organizations helping engage volunteers in its All of Us Research Program, part of the Precision Medicine Initiative.

The All of Us Research Program is gathering data from 1 million or more United States residents. The program’s ultimate aim is to accelerate research and by serving as a national research resource. Program researchers can also use the resource to personalize healthcare in different communities.

The funding opportunity is open to national and regional organizations as well as local community groups. It offers $5 million per year over the next three years to support the volunteer enrollment and retention efforts.

Applications are due on March 24, 2017, and NIH will issue the awards in May 2017.
