Using an analysis from consulting form Janco Associates, the report finds 30,100 IT-related jobs were added to U.S. companies between May and July, which is a 21.2 percent decrease from the 38,200 that were added the three months prior.

Employers hired 12,200 IT workers in July, surpassing the 5,200 hired in June, but still a decline from the 15,900 hired in January and 16,000 hired in April, according to the report.

However, Victor Janulaitis, Janco CEO, told WSJ he predicts total IT jobs to reach 160,000 by the end of the year, a 41.6 percent increase from 2014’s 113,000.
