As a part of the new release, MDLive launched a new mobile app. The app for Apple iOS was launched in December 2015, and the Android version was launched in February. The app is designed to provide mobile users with a streamlined experience. Users can:

• Hold a video visit with MDLive physicians
• Send photos during consultations
• Sync health data
• Schedule an appointment with a preferred physician
• Register family members

“We are seeing significant growth in the number of patients that use a smartphone to connect with MDLIVE so a robust development framework and mobile app is essential,” said Randy Parker, CEO and founder of MDLive.
