The Department of Health and Hospitals is blaming computer glitches for the reimbursement error. A DHH spokesperson said affected healthcare providers should see the reimbursement appear in their bank accounts by today, according to the report.
The reimbursement error follows another incident that took place last year when DDH overpaid Medicaid providers $11.6 million, which the health agency also blamed on computer malfunctions.
