Oracle Health has resumed its U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs EHR rollout after a three-year hiatus and has been working to advance CMS’ “Kill the Clipboard” initiative.
Meanwhile, the EHR vendor continues to refine its AI and upgrade strategy.
“[E]nhancements from a quality standpoint — especially in the last two to three years, there’s been significant improvement just with quality and the overall ease of Oracle EMR upgrades,” Susan Clauser, senior IT director at Omaha-based Nebraska Methodist Health System, told Becker’s for an April 28 story.

8. Eureka Springs Hospital (Ark.) applied for a licensure addendum to offer lower-acuity services at a reduced fee under the emergency department umbrella, a hybrid care model the hospital is working to finalize with its Oracle Community Works EHR by June 1, Becker’s reported April 7.
9. Hilary Maxson was appointed CFO of Oracle on April 6, the company said.
10. Oracle is cutting thousands of jobs as the company shifts its investments to AI infrastructure, CNBC reported March 31.
