The company opened two cloud data centers in London, England, one in Sydney, Australia, and one in San Jose, Calif. The four facilities bring IBM’s global cloud footprint to nearly 60 data centers across 19 countries in six continents.
The facility in San Jose marks IBM’s 23rd data center in the U.S. The facility offers a range of cloud infrastructure services, such as bare metal servers, virtual servers, storage and security services. The cloud data center provides access to analytics, machine learning and cognitive computing capabilities.
