Human Rights Campaign Foundation names McKesson ‘Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality’

McKesson has been recognized as a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.”

The health IT company scored 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2016 Corporate Equality Index. The Index is a national benchmarking tool designed to measure corporate policies related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

“McKesson’s culture is defined by our shared principles which are anchored by respect and integrity. We are proud of being recognized by the HRC for the third year in a row as it demonstrates our commitment to providing a healthy and positive environment for all of our employees, including our LGBT colleagues,” said John Hammergren, chairman and CEO of  McKesson.
