Informatica, which already provides API management and marketing analytics support to Google Cloud, will make its Intelligent Cloud Services tool available on the Google Cloud Platform. The expanded partnership will streamline the transfer of massive datasets from IICS, where they can be managed and synchronized, to Google’s cloud-based AI, analytics and storage products.

Beyond giving customers the ability to apply Google’s AI and analytical tools to their data, the partnership also integrates with Informatica’s Data Quality and Governance solution. According to Informatica, for healthcare clients, this tool ensures compliance with HIPAA and Meaningful Use regulations across entire platforms, covering often mismanaged information such as patient data, marketing materials and procurement spending.
