Individuals who participate in Solera Health’s diabetes prevention program will receive one of Fitbit’s recently launched devices, Fitbit Inspire or Fitbit InspireHR.

Solera Health first partnered with Fitbit in 2017 to provide health technology wearables to individuals who enrolled in the National Diabetes Prevention Program through Solera’s network. Of the 1,700 participants, Solera found that individuals who used a Fitbit were more physically active and lost more weight during the program than those who did not. By weeks 10 through 16 of the program, individuals with a Fitbit reported an extra 60 minutes of weekly activity compared to non-Fitbit participants.

Solera has enrolled more than 100,000 people in the National DPP to date.
