From a major IT outage to several rankings and recognitions, Oracle Health had a busy April.
Here are six times Becker’s reported on the EHR vendor last month:
1. Oracle Health was named a top place to work in healthcare April 30 by Becker’s.
2. Oracle Health’s EHR covered about 22% of both hospitals and beds in 2024, according to an April 30 KLAS Research report.
3. Forty-five hospitals affiliated with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems experienced IT outages from April 23 to April 28 after data storage linked to their Oracle Health EHRs was accidentally deleted.
4. Two women filed a class-action lawsuit April 11 against Oracle Health, accusing the company of failing to protect sensitive patient information during a recent cyberattack that allegedly compromised data from several U.S. hospitals.
