Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems’ Oracle Health EHR system is back online following a temporary outage, CNBC reported April 28.
A spokesperson for the health system told the publication the issue was resolved April 28 and was not related to a cyberattack or other security incident.

- On April 23, Community Health Systems experienced a disruption to its Oracle Health EHR system after Oracle engineers mistakenly deleted critical storage during routine maintenance.
- The issue triggered downtime procedures at 45 CHS hospitals.
- A spokesperson for CHS told the publication the hospitals maintained operations with “no material impact” on care.
- Oracle has not publicly responded to the incident, according to CNBC.
