Dayton (Ohio) VA Medical Center is undergoing a $55.6 million IT upgrade to prepare for its new Oracle Health EHR system, Dayton Daily News reported April 9.
The facility is one of nine VA medical centers scheduled to implement the Oracle Health EHR system in 2026. The new system is expected to go live at the Dayton center on June 1, 2026.
The IT funding will be used to upgrade the medical center’s IT closets, infrastructure and equipment to ensure it can support the new EHR system.
