Epic named 64 U.S. health systems to its Honor Roll for 2025.
Launched in 2017, the EHR vendor’s voluntary Honor Roll Good Maintenance Grant Program provides financial incentives to health systems that adopt its best practices — and latest features.
The criteria include ease of use for providers and nurses, enterprise data and analytics, financial, health information exchange, infrastructure, patient experience, population health, and staying current.
The incentives are not insignificant. New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals, for instance, received a $748,000 grant from Epic for landing on this year’s Honor Roll, while Salisbury, Md.-based TidalHealth earned $261,000 and Syracuse, N.Y.-based SUNY Upstate Medical University reaped $185,000.
