Cerner opens COVID-19 vaccine clinic at headquarters

About 400 Cerner workers will volunteer this week to help administer COVID-19 vaccines at the Kansas City, Mo.-based company’s headquarters, according to a Feb. 1 Kansas City Star report.

Cerner’s vaccination clinic is part of the Operation Safe coalition in North Kansas City, Mo., which includes a group of hospitals and governments that aim to vaccinate up to 4,500 people every other week.

North Kansas City Hospital and Liberty Hospital are also part of the coalition and are helping run the clinic alongside Cerner on the company’s campus Feb. 4-6. 

Missouri gets about 76,000 vaccine doses per week, state health officials told the publication.
