The charter coalition members include Health eVillages, the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, Physicians Interactive, Healthways, MedHelp, WELVU and Univadis.

The information will be housed in one central platform where physicians can review news stories, medical journals, newsletters and learning modules regarding Ebola.

“It is extremely frustrating that there isn’t a more aggressive, proactive and collaborative approach to distributing critical information digitally to healthcare providers in today’s mobile world,” said Donato Tramuto, chairman and CEO of Physicians Interactive. “The Health eVillages Collaborative Coalition welcomes healthcare professionals, tech companies and other industry leaders around the world to share their expertise, knowledge and experiences. This collaborative, intelligent strategy, which provides the expediency in making Ebola information available through our combined platforms and massive reach to healthcare providers across the globe, will advance patient care, healthcare provider protection and ultimately save lives from this deadly disease.”
