Hyperledger, which boasts more than 140 members, aims to help organizations create blockchain technology that enables industry-specific applications, platforms and systems. Its members are from industries such as finance, healthcare and aeronautics.
Change Healthcare is the first health IT organization to join as a premier member, the top level of membership. The company’s chief technology officer, Aaron Symanski, will also join Hyperledger’s governing board.
