Ardent names new chief medical information officer

Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services named Brad Hoyt, MD, its chief medical information officer.

Prior to this role, Dr. Hoyt served 26 years developing internal medicine practices at Tulsa, Okla.-based affiliates of Ardent, Utica Park Clinic and Hillcrest Healthcare System, according to a Jan. 3 Ardent Health news release.

In his new position, Dr. Hoyt will work to lead further optimization of Ardent’s Epic EHR system.
