Apple’s health-related job listings up 400% since 2017

Apple has roughly 75 open job listings with the word “health” in the career title, up from just 15 openings in October 2017, according to an analysis from data startup Thinknum and reported by 9to5Mac.

This increase represents a 400 percent rise in health-related job listings since 2017, suggesting progress on Apple’s goal to become a prominent player in the healthcare space.

The majority of the job listings — 32 — are for software and services role, with an additional 20 listings related to hardware. The other 23 listings are distributed between Apple’s corporate functions, operations, supply chain, marketing and design departments.
