From billion-dollar valuations to new executives to fresh partnerships, here's the latest roundup of stories about health IT companies, including Amazon, Meditech and Olive.

  1. Walgreens Boots Alliance CEO Rosalind Brewer said the pharmacy chain is aiming to capitalize on the opportunities in the healthcare sector and enhance its digital experience. “One example of our next phase of growth is our previously communicated tech-enabled healthcare initiative," she said.

  2. Olive closed a $400 million funding round, raising the healthcare AI company's total valuation to $4 billion.

  3. Pharmacy discount company GoodRx teamed up with DoorDash to offer the food ordering and delivery platform's network of drivers access to its prescription savings program and telehealth services.

  4. Amazon Studios, the film sector of the retail giant, partnered with health IT startup Carbon Health to host pop-up vaccine clinics in New York City and Los Angeles.

  5. The Federal Communications Commission gave Amazon permission to develop a device that uses radar technology to monitor people's sleep.

  6. Truveta, a healthcare data analytics startup formed by 14 U.S. health systems in February, welcomed three new members to the company and closed a $95 million financing round.
