Here are seven recent health IT vendor contracts and go-lives:

1. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs awarded 1Vision and AMC Health with Authority to Operate certification to provide telehealth solutions to its patients, 1Vision confirmed June 11.

2. IBM entered into two separate agreements to support senior citizens' care, including partnerships with German insurer R+V Versicherung and U.K.-based care management provider Karantis360.

3. Medical staffing and home nursing services provider Maxim Healthcare Services reached a five-year agreement with Leidos to create a suite of health IT solutions focused on the home, post-acute and long-term care settings.

4. The health information exchange healtheConnect Alaska selected NextGate's enterprise master patient index solution to improve its patient matching capabilities, NextGate confirmed June 12.

5. The health information exchange Wisconsin Statewide Health Information Network tapped PatientPing to improve care coordination for its patients, PatientPing confirmed June 13.

6. Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy recently became the first health system in the country to implement VitalConnect's Vista Solution platform, a wireless, real-time, continuous patient monitoring system.

7. Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial HealthCare plans to implement Voalte smartphones for clinical communication at two of its hospitals, the smartphone solutions provider confirmed June 13.
