10 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported during the past week.

1. Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health launched remote intensive care unit services through a partnership with telemedicine provider Advanced ICU Care, the vendor announced Sept. 20.

2. Naval Hospital Bremerton (Wash.) went live on the U.S. Department of Defense's Cerner EHR system, called MHS Genesis, Sept. 25.

3. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Veterans Health Administration awarded a dialysis EMR contract to Document Storage Systems and Cybernius Medical.

4. Affirmant Health Partners, a Portage, Mich.-based clinically integrated network, signed an agreement to implement Epic's Healthy Planet Constellation Sept. 12.

5. Midland-based MidMichigan Health is deploying its Epic EHR system at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena and its physician offices throughout the Alpena area.

6. Tomah (Wis.) Memorial Hospital is gearing up for its Oct. 1 Epic EHR go-live, a project that will cost the hospital around $3 million.

7. Wright Memorial Hospital, a critical access hospital in Trenton, Mo., plans to move its EMR to Epic Oct. 1.

8. Pascagoula, Miss.-based Singing River Health System will implement Nuance Communications' full suite of artificial intelligence-driven clinical documentation solutions.

9. Phoenix Children's Hospital deployed diagnostic imaging, patient monitoring and informatics solutions from Royal Philips in its emergency department and Level 1 pediatric trauma center, which opened Sept. 20.

10. Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System teamed up with Veritas Genetics to provide genome sequencing and interpretation in MyMap.
