13 recent hospital outlook, credit rating actions

The following hospital and health system rating and outlook changes and affirmations took place in the last week, starting with the most recent.

1. Fitch affirms Princeton HealthCare System's 'BBB' rating
Fitch Ratings affirmed the "BBB" rating on Plainsboro, N.J.-based Princeton HealthCare System's $188 million of series 2016 bonds.

2. Fitch affirms Erlanger Health System's 'BBB+' rating
Fitch Ratings affirmed the "BBB+" rating on Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System's $149.9 million of series 2014A bonds. 

3. Fitch places Chilton County Health Care Authority on rating watch negative
Fitch Ratings placed the "AA-" rating on Clanton, Ala.-based Chilton County Health Care Authority's $38.3 million of series 2015A bonds on rating watch negative. 

4. S&P places York Health Care Authority on CreditWatch negative
S&P Global Ratings placed the "A-" rating on York (Ala.) Health Care Authority's series 2011 tax anticipation bonds on CreditWatch with negative implications.

5. Moody's revises Jefferson Regional Medical Center's outlook to stable
Moody's Investors Service revised Jefferson Hills, Pa.-based Jefferson Regional Medical Center's outlook to stable from negative. 

6. Moody's revises St. Vincent Hospital's outlook to negative
Moody's Investors Service revised Erie, Pa.-based St. Vincent Hospital's outlook to negative from stable and affirmed its "Ba2" rating, affecting a total of $85 million of rated debt.

7. Fitch downgrades Great Plains Regional Medical Center's rating to 'BB-'
Fitch Ratings downgraded the rating on Elk City, Okla.-based Great Plains Regional Medical Center's $33.7 million of series 2007 bonds to "BB-" from "BB." 

8. S&P lowers Opelousas General Health System's rating to 'BB+'
S&P Global Ratings lowered the rating on Opelousas (La.) General Health System's series 2003 bonds to "BB+" from "BBB-." 

9. S&P assigns 'AA' rating to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's bonds
S&P Global Ratings assigned an "AA" long-term rating to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's $53.6 million of series 2016X bonds and $100 million of series 2016Y bonds.

10. S&P assigns 'A-' rating to Benefis Health System's bonds
S&P Global Ratings assigned an "A-" long-term rating to Great Falls, Mont.-based Benefis Health System's series 2016 bonds and affirmed the "A-" underlying rating on Benefis' series 2007 and 2011A bonds. 

11. Fitch affirms Peterson Regional Medical Center's 'BBB+' rating
Fitch Ratings affirmed the "BBB+" rating on Kerrville, Texas-based Peterson Regional Medical Center's $55.2 million of series 2015 bonds. 

12. Moody's affirms Holland Community Hospital's 'A2' rating
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "A2" rating on Holland (Mich.) Community Hospital's $36.7 million of outstanding revenue bonds. 

13. Moody's affirms Rex Healthcare's 'A2' rating
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "A2" rating on Raleigh, N.C.-based Rex Healthcare's $150 million of rated debt.
