Moody’s revises St. Vincent Hospital’s outlook to negative

Moody’s Investors Service revised Erie, Pa.-based St. Vincent Hospital’s outlook to negative from stable and affirmed its “Ba2” rating, affecting a total of $85 million of rated debt.

St. VincentHospital is the primary entity of Erie, Pa.-based St. Vincent Health System.

The outlook revision reflects SVHS’ weak performance in fiscal year 2015, as well as Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation that SVHS’ performance will continue to be challenged through fiscal year 2016.
