The 8,530-square-foot addition will include four operating rooms. Two rooms will be ready for use immediately, and the hospital will equip the other two as demand increases.
New technologies — like image-guided assistance and a biplane imaging system — will help make neurosurgery and vascular surgery possible in the region, meeting patient and surgeon demands, Redlands Daily Facts reported.
Construction is slated to begin this summer with completion in summer or fall 2017.
