The construction project, which took two years to complete, added 26,150-square-feet to the facility and included 42,680-square-feet of renovations. The newly renovated facility will house 16 private rooms, an emergency room with four receiving bays, a surgical suite and a 37-room skilled nursing home.
“We were looking at what we needed to do to continue to be a relevant provider of healthcare, moving forward with all the changes that are happening and with all the expectations our community members have,” Kimber Wraalstad, Northshore Health Hospital’s administrator, told Business North.
