Memorial Hermann Northeast breaks ground on $70M patient tower

Memorial Hermann Northeast in Humble, Texas, on May 30 broke ground on a $70 million patient tower, which is slated to open in December 2018, according to Chron.

The planned five-story, 123,000-square-foot tower will house 90 large patient rooms, with space to accommodate 30 additional beds in the future, according to the report.

The construction will also add 240 new parking spots, as well as renovations to the east entrance of the existing hospital.

Currently, Memorial Hermann Northeast has 255 patient beds. Patient beds will be relocated from the old south tower to the new tower upon its completion, according to the report.
