Portsmouth Regional Hospital opens $10.5M emergency medical facility: 4 things to know

Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital will open its Seabrook (N.H.) Emergency Room to patients Thursday, according to The Daily News of Newburyport.

Here are four things to know.

1. The freestanding emergency medical facility comprises 10,000 square feet of space.

2. It features more than 10 private emergency exam rooms and multiple bays, according to the report.

3. Hospital CEO Dean Carucci told The Daily News of Newburyport about 40 employees will staff the facility, which offers CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound imaging and laboratory testing.

4. The building cost $10.5 million.
