The $10.4 million project, which began in May, will provide more space for patients and staff. It will triple the size of the ED, add four additional beds and include two trauma rooms, isolation and seclusion rooms and an ambulance garage, according to the report.
The ED expansion is part of a greater, $15 million hospital renovation. It is expected to be open by late spring or summer, according to the report.
