Florida Hospital Oceanside remains closed after damage from Hurricane Irma

Ormond Beach-based Florida Hospital Oceanside has been closed since Hurricane Irma struck in early September, according to the Miami Herald.

The 80-bed hospital on Florida's Atlantic coast evacuated in anticipation of the storm, which damaged an exterior wall of the facility.

The hospital will remain closed until next week at least, and evacuated patients will continue to be cared for at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
