The building would include physicians’ offices, an urgent care facility and pharmacy. Advocate Medical Group plans to present the proposal Monday evening at a Planning and Development Commission meeting at Village Hall, according to the report.
The Beatty property includes approximately three acres of land. The buildings have been vacant for nearly a decade.
Advocate’s proposal calls for a 54,000-square-foot, two-story building and two parking lots. The facility would employ roughly 105 people, and surrounding businesses would likely benefit from the influx of people in the business district, village officials said.
Village officials are also considering adding townhomes to the north of the medical building to serve as a buffer between the residential neighborhood and medical facility, according to the report.
