In tribute of Mr. Prout, a piece of stained glass hangs in the lobby of TriHealth Kenwood.
“TriHealth Kenwood is a beautiful place, a healing place and a location that embodies the best of TriHealth. I am humbled and honored to be associated with it, and now recognized within it,” Mr. Prout said, according to the report.
Mr. Prout served as TriHealth CEO for 17 years, stepping down at the beginning of this year after undergoing heart surgery. During his tenure from 1998 to 2015, he expanded TriHealth to include six hospitals, 130 other care sites, 550 employed physicians and 12,000 employees.
“While his work at TriHealth is now complete, his legacy will carry on for generations,” said TriHealth CEO Mark Clement, according to the report.
