The ED at Texas Health Alliance, which is part of Arlington-based Texas Health Resources, serves approximately 33,000 patients annually.
The project’s first phase added 22,000 square feet to the 101-bed hospital, which included 20 new ED rooms. Phase two is set to begin in January and will renovate 8,500 square feet of previous ED space, which will be converted into 14 additional ED rooms.
The second phase of the project is anticipated to be finished by July.
