Digital health: Who’s up, who’s down

The digital health market is constantly changing, with new startups coming on to the scene and more established companies restructuring their strategies.

Companies that had a good week:

  1. Health insurance marketplace GoHealth received a $50 million investment.
  2. Teladoc and Lee Health offered free or reduced cost virtual care to Floridians affected by Hurricane Ian.

Companies that had a bad week:

  1. Three top executives left healthcare automation company Olive.
  2. Digital health company TruePill conducted its fourth round of layoffs this year, according to Sept. 29 reporting in Techcrunch.
  3. EHR and software giant Oracle paid out $23 million to settle foreign bribery allegations.
