5 recent digital mental health updates

Oct. 10 is Mental Health Awareness Day, and digital health companies are constantly innovating and introducing new mental healthcare tools.

Here are five recent digital mental health updates:

  1. Learn to Live released two new digital mental health programs. The company's Resilience program provides tools to improve mental fitness, and the Panic program helps people with panic attacks, according to the Oct. 10 Learn to Live news release.
  2. Text-messaging-based mental health app Counslr went live in all 50 states.
  3. Headspace Health acquired the self-guided mental health app Shine for an undisclosed amount.
  4. Artificial intelligence-powered mental health app Juli released results from a study that showed 55 percent of its users with bipolar disorder reported a decrease in mania.
  5. ContinuumCare released a new tool that allows care providers to assign tasks and track the progress of mental health patients.
